「モノ継ぎ」代表 持永かおり
多摩美術大学にて、ガラス工芸と陶芸を学ぶ。
卒業後、陶作品を制作･発表しながら｢いけばな草月｣本部造形科陶芸コースで
加藤清之氏･小川待子氏の助手として指導にあたる。
その間、多くの美術品や花器･器の修理修復を手掛ける。
愛用の飯碗を割ってしまい、修理のため漆の勉強を始める。
D＆DEPARTMENT のデザインリサイクルの趣旨に共感し、
2014年より同社のリペアネットワークに参加。
現在、金継ぎ•ガラス継ぎの受注に加え、
1〜2ヶ月に一度の金継ぎ公開受付をD＆DEPARTMENT TOKYOにて開催している。
2017年｢金継ぎ上達レッスン｣を監修、メイツ出版から上梓。
2023年春に英訳版（Kintsugi: The Wabi Sabi Art of Japanese Ceramic Repair）が
Tuttle Publishing Publicationから出版される。
NHK Eテレ｢デザイン あ｣・ NHK-BS｢美の壺｣に出演、TV・雑誌・講演を通じ
｢漆で繕う金継ぎ｣の魅力を国内外に発信中。

KAORI MOCHINAGA
Representative of monotsugi
Majored in Glass and Ceramic Arts at Tama Art University. Started lacquerware for restoration, and has been repairing and restoring countless works of art and ceramics for over 20 years. In 2011, started a project repairing ceramic ware from my home in Tokyo. I am currently taking orders for Kintsugi through this website and at D&Department Tokyo.
The English version of Kaori Mochinaga's Kintsugi (Kintsugi: The Wabi Sabi Art of Japanese Ceramic Repair) was released in bookstores overseas in March 2023. The content is exactly the same as the Japanese version of "Kintsugi joutatsu Lesson" released in Japan in 2017. Both Japanese and English versions are also available on Kindle.
KAORI MOCHINAGA has appeared on NHK Educational TV's "Design Ah" and NHK-BS's "Bi no Tsubo," and is spreading the appeal of Kintsugi both in Japan and overseas through TV, magazines and lectures.
